Joseph F. Colvin is a Houston business attorney with a transactional skillset. Mr. Colvin attended the University of St. Thomas right here in Houston where he studied Philosophy, Theology, and Creative Writing.

At the University he served as the Editor of Laurels, the University’s poetry and fiction publication. Mr. Colvin graduated summa cum laude and thereafter attended South Texas College of Law. At South Texas he served as Articles Editor for the Corporate Counsel Review, completed the Transactional Skills Certificate course program, was inducted in to the Order of the Lytae, and graduated cum laude.

Mr. Colvin’s practice has included business bankruptcy reorganization, creditor’s rights, civil litigation, legal ethics, and transactional law. His practice currently focuses on commercial litigation between members of closely held corporations and partnerships.
